q     Each Cross-slide is qualified using the base adapter references.

q     All tooling fits on any cross-slide (with base adapter plate).

q     Base Adapter Reference plate pre-qualifies any cross-slide for

1.      Centerline Height

2.      Radial Position

3.      Distance to collet

q     Exact tool position (within 0.0005”) is preset off the machine.

q     Precision adjustments for Diameter, Axial Position, Tool Height and Taper

     Quick Change Tool Posts (when preset) save at least one hour of set up per position

q     Each Tool Post accepts a complete variety of quick change tool holders .

q     During production, tool changes take 20 seconds.

q     Tooling is reversible and can be used in any position.
